Position summary:
We are looking to hire a versatile team of HTML developers to oversee the design, coding, and implementation of web frontend for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will be to collaborate with Website Designers on the initial web design, write the code, ensure cross-platform compatibility, and provide user support.
Our ideal candidate should be motivated to combine the art of design with the art of website programming.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Web designers and Engineering team to discuss project design and layout.
- Take storyboards and concept art all the way to highly polished interactive experiences
- Applying new state-of-the-art web design tools and technologies to enhance the functionality and quality of online and interactive material, using HTML5 and CSS3
- Debugging code and front-end web applications.
- Ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
- Produce and programme projects from initial ideas through to delivery of assets
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Skills:
- Self-driven, flexible, and innovative with outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Strong knowledge of web standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Adhering to best design practices
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of HTML5 experience, CSS, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON are essential
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design and layout tools
- Responsive Design, Mobile development and cross browser support experience a must
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
